Dr. Andre Ford serves as Treasurer of the UCHAPS Board and is an experienced advocate, entrepreneur, and management consultant. He is currently the Chair of University of Pennsylvania Center for AIDS Research Community Advisory Board (UPenn CFAR CAB) and the National CFAR CAB Coalition (NCCC). He has extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, and public health and government relations and has worked with a diverse group of community providers, coalitions, agencies and research initiatives. He continues to provide leadership and management for both non-profit and for-profit organizations and implements new programs.
Jennifer Chapman has worked in HIV/STI prevention and treatment adherence research both domestically and internationally for more than 20 years. She currently serves as the Community co-Chair of the City of Philadelphia HIV Prevention Planning Group and has been the Philadelphia delegate to UCHAPS since 2012. Jennifer began her work in HIV/STI prevention in 1995 for the state of Delaware, Division of Public Health as a Disease Intervention Specialist and HIV Counselor & Tester in Wilmington, Delaware and later at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. Since 2000 she has worked at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on a number of domestic and international HIV-related research projects.
