Training for HIV Prevention Program Managers

Were you recently hired or promoted to be a program manager in your organization? Or do you hope to be in a management position soon?

Capacity for Health, a national project funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide free training and capacity building to organizations involved in HIV prevention services, is offering a FREE two-day training for new and potential HIV prevention program managers.

This fun and interactive training includes informative presentations, engaging discussions and skills building exercises on topics such as:

  • How to be an effective supervisor

  • Building and sustaining effective teams

  • Budget management basics

  • Tips for project management

  • Self-care and burnout
