Nonprofits and funders alike recognize the power and necessity of data to assess and communicate the strengths and outcomes of the programs that serve our communities. But putting that understanding into practice can be a daunting task.
The nonprofit-led Measure4Change Advisory Council invites you to network with and learn from local nonprofits, funders, government employees, researchers, advocates, social impact consultants, and other stakeholders in this space. This first regional conference of the Measure4Change Community of Practice is aimed at providing practical guidance and functional tools to build and maintain a robust culture of continuous improvement through evaluation and performance measurement.
We hope you will join Measure4Change and Kevin Jones, UCHAPS Executive Director, for:
A keynote address by Sonal Shah, Executive Director of the Beeck Center at Georgetown University, on the state of nonprofit performance measurement in DC area
A panel discussion of funders and nonprofits on how to deal with negative outcomes, moderated by Isaac Castillo(Venture Philanthropy Partners), featuring Lynsey Jeffries(Higher Achievement), Kevin Jones (Urban Coalition for HIV/AIDS Prevention Services), and Lindsey Buss (World Bank Group)
Skill-building workshops to grow nonprofit evaluation capacity; communicate outcomes to different audiences; collect and analyze qualitative data; and integrate evaluation into organizational culture.
